Jahdi, as she is artistically known, hails from the County of Kings, Brooklyn, New York, where she began her artistic career in 1996. Her experience as a singer ranges from singing hooks for a local hip-hop group, theDisciples, singing lead and back-up for a Salsa band, local to the Tri-State Area, to recording as a solo artist. Jahdi has performed in venues within the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, and was featured in Danny Hochs independent film, Jails, Hospitals & Hip-Hop. After a brief lay-off from her artistic career, while pursuing a college education and reinforcing her artistic ability through professional training, Jahdi is back in the studio developing a promotional package. Jahdi has been classically trained as a vocalist and has had professional training in various forms of dance.

Brooklyn Urban Latinos represent on the silver screen... Rick Gonzalez, Bushwick Brooklyn..s native Boricua/Dominicano, making it big co-starring with the likes of Tom Cruise, Samuel L. Jackson, and Will Ferrell. Rick is a force to be reckoned with. His performance in Coach Carter starring Samuel L. Jackson was more than surprising... I just hope he doesn..t get type cast; because of Rick..s trademark hair, regardless, keep an eye out on this young cat! We are going to be seeing a lot more of him.. Representing BUSHWICK BROOKLYN!
WILSON J. HEREDIA
Another Brooklyn Urban Latino making strides is Williamsburg Brooklyn..s native Dominicano, Tony Award winner and friend, Wilson J. Heredia. He was one of the original cast members of the hit musical production "RENT" where he received a Tony for his outstanding performance. He also co-starred in the movie "Flawless", with Robert Deniro. Wilson..s performance in "Flawless" was nothing but "flawless" playing a drag queen named Cha Cha. Wilson shows us he has what it takes to be a man in high heels.
