Gamelan Silih Ganti

Gamelan Silih Ganti is an independent Balinese Gamelan quartet based in Los Angeles. Our instruments are from the Angklung Kebyar tradition, much like those found in North Bali. This style features an extended range of pitches, beyond the usual four-tone slendro scale.Silih Ganti loosely translates as "the sharing of ideas", which is inspired by the varying influences found within our ensemble. We are available for public and private events such as festivals, weddings, and parties.
