About Me

To live we really gotta breathe but it gets so breath taking, the inevitable hurry. We shall try to keep breathing and connect - think of some cues and clues on how to deal with these stress habits we inherit from modern daily life.
I like to establish a long term coaching relationships - it´s important that you find your own tools for health. In an experience that can be described very much as a soothing massage, we're actually working with many levels of the body, not just the usual skeletal-muscular systems. In my practice, first sessions are longer to allow a more extensive assessment, then we can decide what our goals will be on each step of this never ending journey.
If you ever heard of Body-Mind Centering that can be a very good reference (www.bodymindcentering.com). I’m proud to say I got a broad and in depth somatic education at Moving On Center - School for Participatory Arts and Somatic Research (www.movingoncenter.org).
A traveler by vocation I have been striving to live the summer both hemispheres. It seemed more than natural to become a professional using my gift for languages.
I´m a Brazilian Portuguese = English Interpreter (graduated Puc-Rio/2002) - Liaison, Simultaneous, Consecutive, Whispered - with over 10 years experience translating in many different fields.
My A Language (mother tongue) is Portuguese, my second, very strong, B Language is English and C Languages are (I can understand very well but am less proficient in) Italian, French and Spanish.

Integrative Biology 131 - Lecture 03: Skeletal System

Integrative Biology 131: General Human Anatomy. Fall 2005. Professor Marian Diamond. The functional anatomy of the human body as revealed by gross and microscopic examination. The Department of Integrative Biology offers a program of instruction that focuses on the integration of structure and function in the evolution of diverse biological systems. It investigates integration at all levels of organization from molecules to the biosphere, and in all taxa of organisms from viruses to higher plants and animals. The department uses many traditional fields and levels of complexity in forging new research directions, asking new questions, and answering traditional questions in new ways. The various fields within the department cooperate across disciplinary boundaries, sharing information and knowledge. Experience in laboratory and/or field, technological and independent study will bring about an understanding of scientific logic based on both experimental and historical patterns and processes. The faculty has special strengths in the disciplines of morphology, organismal physiology, animal behavior, biomechanics, ecology, systematic biology, paleobiology, population genetics, and evolution.
