THE LEAGUE OF ONE
One can be many different things to many different people. To some, it is the loneliest number. Others might see a number that can divide all, and yet changes nothing when multiplied. Still others see One as a badge of honour, representing all that is noble and good about standing out from a crowd. On a daily basis though, more and more music fans are discovering the One is the whole of all that is good in music of late. Yes, The League of One is indeed that good. Driven by an inspired mix of influences that span over three decades of heavy rock, the League is certain to have your head banging, fist pumping, and ears bleeding!!!
Although they’ve only existed scince 2005, with the aid of thier debut CD, "Orange", The League of One’s fan base has grown rapidly. League shows are always well attended and well received. First timers are easy to spot: they’re the ones with thier jaws hanging wide open, as if waiting for an imaginary dentist. The more seasoned fans are often singing the infectious melodies that are the showpiece of the League’s unique sound. Driven by the creative drumming of Eric Stone (69), and the rock-solid bass playing of the Reverend Mervin J. (9), the power trio is fronted by axeman and vocalist Will Maeder (420). These veteran musicians combine to put the power in power trio, but they are also very thoughtful and reflective at times. With insightful and unexpected lyrics, solid songs, thunderous riffs, angelic harmonies, screaming guitars and more, only one thing is for sure; after experiencing The League of One, you will be changed forever...

The League of One is asking you, the people who come to the shows, those of you who know some of the words, those of you who don’t, those of you that bang your head, those of you who cheer, and those of you who just like to sit back, relax and drink, to let YOUR voice be heard.
Some of you claim to be our number one fan, now have a chance to prove it ;)
Apperantley, the people at Bodog Music are allowing one last chance to make it to the big million dollar show. So we need you to vote for us, once a day, every day untill the end of april. If we get enough votes, we get to go to Europe for the WORLD FINALS! Please help us get there. We can’t do it without you.
Just google BODOG BATTLE and make sure you go to the CANADA part ;)
From there you can do a search for bands, just type LEAGUE in the thinger and you’ll find us. Hit the VOTE button once our page loads and, voila!
If you haven’t been on the site before, you may be prompted to fill out some info. Don’t worry, I did and they haven’t sent me any mail yet ;)
This is a great opportunity for us, one that you can help make a reality. Tell your friends about one of your favorite bands, The League of One. The internet is huge, and we might be able to get this if you can help us out ;) Invite your friends to the group so they can discover first hand what we’re all about.
Thanx for you time,
together, we move forward
apart, we fall behind
Join the League, and together, we’ll never fall behind
One is Pleased!
And as long as One is happy....Everyone is safe.
