Leoncie began her musical studies at the very early age of 5. Her father, a professional, seasoned musician began teaching her to read, write and play classical and jazz music. The Piano, to be followed shortly after by her studies with the Trinity College of Music-London. As she grew a bit older, Leoncie was playing organ and singing in the Catholic church choir in India for all the masses and weddings etc. Goa which was a portuguese colony many years ago, with it's portuguese forefathers has left behind a very strong Western Music influence on the Goans. So......It's not at all surprising that Leoncie blends South American and Portuguese rhythms with modern pop-rock beats which creates a dynamic blend called Leoncie Music.
Sight reading was one of Leoncie' s strongest points, and later on she was singing and performing with bands all over India and Abroad, until she decided to go Solo. Leoncie has studied music through the Trinity College Of Music, London, and is a Professional Singer-Musician-Composer and Producer.
This Incredible Icelandic artist is one of a kind. LEONCIE has been described as an Unpredictable, Dynamite Cocktail. She’s also known by artist names INDIAN PRINCESS LEONCIE, and ICY SPICY LEONCIE. She has performed in many different countries,she sings in several different languages. English, Hindi, Icelandic, Danish, Arabic & Konkani. Leoncie has got a great sense of Humour and one can hear it in some of her songs, whether it is in English, Icelandic, Danish or Indian language.
