Desde que surgiu, em 2003, o grupo vem apresentando-se e promovendo oficinas em unidades do Sesc (Ribeirão Preto, Bauru, Pompéia, Campinas , Rio Preto, Santos e São Carlos), e no circuito de casas noturnas paulistanas, onde levou sua brasilidade contemporânea para espaços como Bar.13, Milo Garage, Loveland, D-Edge, Berlin, Inferno Club, Sarajevo, A Obra (BH) e realizou discotecagens na Fosfobox (RJ), Dama de Ferro (RJ), Ampgalaxy (SP) e Beco (Porto Alegre - RS). O grupo tem três álbuns independentes lançados, "Raízes Aéreas" (Samacô Records 2003) e "Máquinas Híbridas" (Samacô Records 2005) e "Kosmophonia"((©urve)music 2008). Since the late 1990s, musician andproducer TRZ, together with bass player Fabiano (DJ IB) and Paulo Pires played in a popular local Sao Paulo band called Mercado de Peixe. While the three of them were living in Bauru, they created a side project of pro-groove beats named Musikalikida. In 2003, DJ IB and TRZ started a new project called Lavoura Eletro, a reference to a novel by author Raduan Nassar Lavoura Arcaica. Using samples and remixing genres like samba, house, dub, hip hop, afro beat, IDM, Brazilian Popular Music (MPB) and drumnbass their performances became quite popular, playing raves and clubs all over Sao Paulo State. Veteran musician Caleb Mascarenhas joined the group in 2006 bringing a wealth of musical influences such as rock (Amnesia), surf-music (The Dead Rocks) and experimental electronic (Dialogos Libertinos, Os Arvores and AE). When Mascarenhas and Pires joined the group they cemented the mix bringing with them a 70s funk and digital psychedelic flavor. Strong advocates of promoting their music for download on the internet and have contributed music to such websites as Fiberonline, Myspace, and CCMixter where all music can be remixed and sampled under a Creative Commons permit. In concert they play such songs as Araraquara is Burning, V de Vitoria, Sumarezinho Underground, Valsa pra Ela, Grass. This music are embraced by some podcasts around the world and radios like Eldorado FM (a cultural and popular conceptual radio from the States Capital), Unesp FM and Ufscar Radio. Live they also play different versions of Azymuth, Dom Um Romao, Marcos Valle and Black Rio. Together with VJ DEK Wilde, who creates real-time images to their distinctive sound, they've created a visual and sound-immersive atmosphere.
