bonequinho

bonequinho (“bo-neh-kin-ho” / bnqnh, 3-18-1993) is a Brazilian experimental act/garage band producing audio recordings, visual arts and texts; it performs live since 1995.
The members have changed innumerous times, so the atmospheres. Formed in a small city (Bauru, Sao Paulo’s inland), bonequinho played along with different bands and styles in underground/small events, from anarcho-punk gigs to hip-hop, from black metal to “popular music” shows, among others.
Outsider to a "scene", bonequinho has always worked with raw improvisation, sensorial and extreme manifests as a language of self-communication.
bonequinho works on very small and handcrafted scales and released the material by its own label Platonic(a)Music(a). Most of the organic sounds are recorded live in one-track systems. There are 6 released CDs, various audio tapes, videos and xerox zines.
On last December it has joined this space to share the free fall, divulge and to split records and shows with interested or interesting people.
Considered “amateur”, with hermetic and irregular works, bnqnh doesn’t follow patterns of quality and doesn’t intend to entertain.

Os membros mudaram inúmeras vezes, assim também as atmosferas. Formado em uma cidade pequena (Bauru, interior de São Paulo), bonequinho tocou com diferentes bandas e estilos, de gigs anarcopunks a outros eventos pequenos/underground de hip-hop, de shows de black metal até “música popular”, por exemplo.
Fora de uma cena, bonequinho sempre trabalhou com improvisação bruta em manifestos extremos e sensoriais como uma linguagem de auto-comunicação.
bonequinho trabalha em escalas muito pequenas e artesanais. Lança seu material pelo próprio selo, Platonic(a)Music(a). A maioria dos sons orgânicos é gravada ao vivo em um canal. Há seis CDs lançados, várias fitas de áudio, vídeos e zines em xerox.
Em dezembro último entrou neste espaço para compartilhar a queda livre, divulgar e dividir gravações e shows com pessoas interessadas ou interessantes.
Considerado “amador”, com trabalhos herméticos e irregulares, bnqnh não segue padrões de qualidade e não tem a intenção de entreter.
