Art, music..you have heard it all before I am sure, I have far too many things I like to focus on one...a problem of late. Local History, I am addicted to Google Earth!
ooh let's see...like minded individuals who appreciate the sounds and musings that you really do not hear commercially...thankfully. I am all for meeting or checking out people that truly have something to say. Be funny, smart, clever, wise. if I can learn something new from you then please make yourself known!
Music that will stir my senses, break my heart, tap my foot, make me want to play drums...
Anything with Audrey Tautou, Classic black and whites, the odd blockbuster but I prefer something small and cute with a happy ending (sounds like we are back to Audrey again)! love French films from the fifties and sixties; Jacques Tati to Jean Paul Belmondo.
Love Anthony Bourdain, Andrew Zimmern, kinda given up on Iron Chef (battle peas..I mean really) though I am so proud of Michael Symon! Yes I watch house hunters though I will bitch slap the next fat fucking spoilt cow that says the football pitch sized master bedroom is too small, when in fact it is so big you need a yellow cab to get to the mammoth walk-in closets that in New York would be split into four condos and rent for $4500 a piece. needless to say the international version is a lot more "real".
just started on a couple of Anthony Bourdain books. Goodwill rocks!
heroes...hmmm, As time goes by that term is changes for me. I truly admire a lot of people..look at a lot of my friends on myspace, they can inspire me by performance, by writing to me even just by their picture. A hero to me is someone who has come through some great turmoil or adversity and touched me by their sheer will, courage and tenacity.
