We are also trying to form a data base of pro bono lawyers who would be willing to help students with advice/representation if they find their station under attack. Please get in touch if you are a lawyer or know a lawyer who would be able to help keep a college station in the hands of the students who run it.
IF YOU'RE A BAND PLEASE READ THISThe purpose of Save College Radio is to network student run non-commercial college radio stations together to raise awareness and to stage a campaign if any college station finds itself under attack. I am an alumni of such a station that came under attack from the school administration. if you're a band and are down with this cause, that is great! please be our friend! but i no longer make any programming decisions at any stations what so ever, so please stop sending me a hundered messages a day asking me to listen to tracks, asking how to get airplay, and where to send music to. That is not what this is about at all! messages sent asking us to listen to tracks will not be replied to. comments in which you pimp your band will be deleted. Thank you.
