About Me

Landmind Hip-Hop is a movement that began in 1995 in Spanish Point, Bermuda. Although they met by almost getting in a fight, Kemal Collins and Dane Minors soon became friends through their mutual interests in hip-hop. They soon discovered not only each other's skills on the mic but also their unique views on hip-hop and the world as a whole. Whether freestyling in Kemal's mom's car, battling at school or doing shows throughout the island, the two soon became well known for their talents. Dane would evolve from Dane to Kaafir to Danegerous into ProfAC. Kemal would go from Shogun-Assassin to Prince Hassan back to Kemal and ultimately Mal.
Although ProfAC would move to New York and Mal would join the Army, the two kept in constant contact sharing verses over the phone and letting each other hear new rappers they had come across. Out of all the MCs they met during their travels only two showed the mutual love and hardwork for the Landmind movement as much as they did. Datnaggaz and DruHollah two brothers from Queens joined Landmind, and together they not only helped the movement go forward but they also added an entirely new dimension to the group's sound. Landmind hip-hop has hundreds of soldiers throughout several states and countries whose hard work and dedication are carrying the movement to the top. Their sound is raw, original, authentic and most importantly, it sounds good. They aim to change the way people listen to hip-hop music and to give the audience what they desperately need right now........... a pulse.
