I'd like to meet:

God, Satan, Timothy Leary, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, the guy who invented the looney tunes and a bunch of other cool cats such as me myself n' I... No scenesters please. And no obnoxious eliteist metalheads either. I listen to both hardcore and metal among many other forms of music, so i dont need to hear your bitching about some random band you happen to not like. On a side note (not relating to the obnoximus metallicus)...dudes who wear girls pants are pansies and need to know that Atreyu sucks balls. :)

Nick Cave Aka. THE MAN.

My music tastes are eclectic, but let's face it they tend to lean to the heavy side. I've been listening to metal since i was a young kid...When i was a wee lil' lad of 8 or 9, i used to steal my brothers classic rock and thrash metal tapes and listen to them when he wasn't around.(Of course they were always returned) and of course his tastes influenced mine by a long shot, however they've progressed into so much more..by the time i reached 12, i was already wise enough to look into underground bands. The internet naturally opened up a whole new world in those terms.

I don't believe in boundaries within music. One day i will listen to Neurosis, the next day i'll bust out "In the Nightside Eclipse" by Emperor and a mere few hours later i might feel like kicking back to some Depeche Mode or some classical music.

Point is, if you limit yourself musically, the way you live, and the music you listen to, you're putting yourself into a hole. Eventually you might grow out of it... and not because you're not already "grown up" as you may naively believe, but because human nature is not static. That's when you might kick yourself for burying yourself into a hole of superficial bullshit.

I go to a lot of shows, and thus i'm often enough exposed to different cliques of eliteist pricks; Everyone wants to prove to someone else that they are more "metal" or "hardcore" or "goth" or whatever they feel like representing. (or alternatively whatever mainstream media is telling them to represent)...Essentially there's a fine line between sheepishly following these genres as borderline guidelines to life, and enjoying fruits that the insanely broad variety of underground music and music in general has to offer, in a thoughtful self aware state of being. Closemindedness on both sides of the fence, both underground music followers, and mainstream music followers makes me sick. It's one thing to be selective (fuck, am i ever!), but another to just close yourself off to one single genre and just call everything else "Shit" without much thought behind the accusation. I call plenty of bands shit, but i'll always explain myself as to why i think they blow.Having said all this, and if you've even read this far, i'll just drop some bands/artists that i personally enjoy, in no particular order (with the exception of the first 4):
