I'kona was originally formed in 2002 under the name Juice and that's about it. Since then they've played every hot venue on the Sunset Strip and Orange County. This includes, the Viper Room, Knitting Factory, Key Club, The House of Blues, The Grove...etc etc.
They have been invited to play with Blues Traveler, Lit, Pepper, The Long Beach Dub All Stars, Hep Cat, Steel Pulse, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Lucky Dube, Was (Not Was), Flava Flav, Digital Underground and Sizzla.
They have had several TV performances on both a local and national level. This include's SiTV's "The Drop". They are the only unsigned act ever to appear on that show.Keep your eye's open for their next review. So far things have been very positive. They are the band to look out for.
