Bo McDowell

I am currently traveling around the country with the OPEN ROAD band and living my dream. We have played in Wyoming, Texas, New Mexico. We are getting great response and having a great time.My CD titled "Hell on the Heart" is doing well. All the songs are penned and composed by yours truly except for Don't Worry "Bout Me. It is my way of tipping my hat to one of my favorite artists Marty Robbins. I had my band members in the studio, along with special help from a couple of artists from Aaron Watson's Band. I am proud of the CD and hope you like it too.I am anxiously awaiting the release of NORTH STARR, A Matthew Stanton film, that I had the priveledge to be a part of, and includes three songs from my CD and a new song that Jerome Watkins (Rome Rock) and I collaborated on. The Movie is in Post Production and will be released in 2007. Things are looking up, and looking strong. Bo Mcdowell and the Open Road Band Have a very diverse song list and try to mix it up a little. You can't play in a Country Music venue with out playing a little Merle, Hank, Johnny or Willie. We also throw some 50's-60's Rock and Roll like Dell Shannon, Percy Sledge. Originals and top 40 hits round it all out. We play for every one and are not a one sound band.We love to play. We are called on often to help people out in fund raisers and for charity. We do that with Heart and Soul. We hope that the charity that we give will be returned to us later down the road.***Watch for me... I am coming to a party near you.
