A drummer since the age of 2, I began my career in music production in 1994 in Northeast Ohio, working for my brother Will Roth's Pro Sound, Lighting and Staging Company (www.aasound.com). By 1999 I began studying the art of studio production, producing my first band’s EP out of my mother’s basement. That work quickly opened many doors and the next several years saw a dramatic increase in my capabilities, visibility, workload and quality of product. By 2002 I partnered up with well known live sound engineer Rick Fuller, and opened my 1st private recording studio in Kent, OH. By 2004 we had out grown our facility in Kent forcing us to relocate to Akron, OH where we opened up a new recording facility named D.R. Audio. By 2005 I had made it across the country and then some producing records from N. Hollywood, CA all the way to London England. In late 2006, I relocated to Athens, GA, bought a house and set about realizing my dream - to own and operate my very own professional digital recording facility. Now it’s been realized. In mid 2007 I hooked up with OH music veterans Mike Farona, and Jon Denney (Neon Cactus Studios-Akron, OH/Middle C Music – Nashville, TN). After touring around the world with there 5 year classic soul, funk and jazz project. Now in 2008 I’m currently working with Mike on the new KALIGO record, and am collaborating with Jon on some serious hip-hop music. This is but a glimpse of the full story.
