What Color Is Your Aura?
Man, way too much to mention. As a journalist, I have always specialized in "heavy" music. I love metal, period. But I listen to a lot of everything, but not mainstream radio garbage. no hip hop, rap, Ashlee Simpson crap...basically most of the worthless nonsense they show on MTV.My favorite CD of all time (at least right now): Type O Negative's "October Rust" honorable mention: Opeth's "Ghost Reveries," "Damnation" and "Blackwater Park," Black Sabbath (1st six CDs, plus DIO era), Van Halen's "5150" and OF COURSE Metallica's "Master of Puppets" Other great stuff: Black Label Society, Crowbar, Opeth, Corrorsion of Conformity, Testament, Down, Pantera (RIP Dime!), Anthrax, Lamb of God, Iron Maiden, Machine Head, Devildriver, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Collective Soul, Dave Matthews Band, Eric Johnson, '80s hair bands (Dokken, Ratt), Motley Crue, Kyuss, old Kiss, Morgion, old Ozzy, (esp. Ultimate Sin), Stone Sour, Seemless, Killswitch Engage....I'll add some more.I've been in 5 bands since I moved to FL: Shiver, Disciple 13, 30 Caliber, Vertigo Endeavor and a new band, Bastards of Doom (www.MySpace.com/bastardsofdoom). Shiver was the most accomplished so far (see the MySpace page at www.MySpace.com/shivergods).
While I love to watch movies, I almost always gravitate towards horror (hence my position with DreadCentral.com). But I still love a good comedy, like "40-Year-Old Virgin." Other faves: "Gladiator," "Dazed & Confused," "Boogie Nights." A must see: "Into the Wild"
Sportscenter, Metal Mania on VH1, anything horror related (such as Masters of Horror), Ghost Hunters on SciFi.
"The Secret" has changed my life, and will continue to. Also..."Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer (Go see the movie!!) Anything by Dan Millman; "The Four Agreements," "The Celestine Prophecy," H.P. Lovecraft (the godfather of horror literature), Dean Koontz, "The Dirt" (the Motley Crue book) and "How Black Was Our Sabbath" by the Sabbath roadies!
Anyone who gives their money and/or time to help others without expecting anything in return.
