My Disney alter ego.
My Disney alter ego.
A Jersey Shore guy at heart I love beaches and warm weather.
( I HATE winter!) I'm missing the typical guy gene that loves sports, but I love running (5Ks), lifting weights (when I can get access to a gym) and hikes, especially non-typical ones like an entire shoreline or Manhatten Island. I'm a sucker for any amusement park or rides. Likewise, I love seeing weirdness or oddities.
I'm an open minded skeptic. On the highbrow side, a trip to the museum or an exhibit is a great afternoon. I have a gift for eating and have won a few contests and even beat some nationally ranked pros.
Normally, I follow the Zone Diet and it works great for me. (But I get off track during the cold months. I guess I hibernate.) I'm also way too geeky. I love anything related to sci-fi, fantasy, or horror. And I do love my gadgets and doodads, especially my PSP and Xbox 360.My Xbox Live Gamertag is
People who don't like to do the same old, same old. If you're the kind of person who wants to go to a new town, try a new restaurant, take a walking tour
(preferably haunted), or check out some local oddity, then you're my kind of person. We're the kind of people who wait for the front car on the roller coaster.
The song that is currently repeating itself in my head. Blue October "Hate Me"
The last movie I saw was: APPLESEED EX MACHINA
Mini review: Good sci-fi story. But the real star of the show is the visuals. Neither true realistic CGI (the Final Fantasy movies), nor anime. It shows what anime-style people would look like if real. Kick ass action too. MY TOP THREE MOVIES OF ALL TIME
Star Wars
Say Anything..
Tucker: The Man and His Dream
Shows I'm currently watching:
Attack of the Show
Battlestar Galactica

Thank God for Tivo, huh?The book I am currently reading or just finished is: Drew Karpyshyn "Mass Effect: Revelation"
BEN FRANKLIN: Forget the old fuddy duddy from history class. The real Franklin was like a force of nature and changed the world in so many positive ways. Read "Ben Franklin: An American Life" by Walter Isaacson and he'll be one of your heroes too.
TED TURNER: I don't agree with everything he says. After all the man's half crazy, but he isn't shy to speak his mind in these politically correct times. And you have to admire that even though he was born into wealth, he didn't sit back and do nothing. He turned the family business into a world changing media company and also takes time for important causes.
BRUCE LEE: Not only a great martial artist and entertainer, he was a gifted philosopher. No, really.
SUPERMAN: OK, I know he's not real, but I love the concept of someone with all that power and his outlook is, "What can I do to help?"Oddly enough, I got Superman as my Superhero Personality Quiz result.Karl's results:
You are Superman Superman 85% Spider-Man 80% Hulk 75% Green Lantern 75% The Flash 70% Iron Man 65% Supergirl 63% Robin 62% Batman 60% Wonder Woman 48% Catwoman 40% You are mild-mannered, good,
