Don't Believe Me...

About Me

The New York -based quartet works tirelessly to introduce the world to its brand of alt-rock/punk. Filomath offers a passionate brand of upbeat rock- but with a twist. Complementing the standard band setup is the analog synth sounds of a 1985 keytar played by LeRoy, the band’s lead singer.
In each of the hundreds of shows they've done throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, the group has played at all-ages punk nights, rock dives, school events, suburban VFW halls and festivals. They have recently shared the stage with such acts as: Ben Folds , Maroon 5 , Evanescence , Eve 6 , Nine Days , Pat McGee Band , SR-71 , Vertical Horizon , Graham Colton Band , and Kill Hannah .
Formed in 2004, the group quickly built a reputation and loyal following in New York City’s underground music scene. They quickly caught the attention of recording industry veterans who paved the way for their latest album which was produced and mixed by hit makers John Fields and Tom Lord Algae .
The band has a lot to look forward to as the material on its album has already received adds at radio and their song, Place in the Sun introduced the Film of the Year at the 2004 MTV Movie Awards . Fallen was also featured in the Best Female Performance category. For all of their talent, growing success, and hard work, the band’s live show and recording reflect the fact that these guys also have a sense of humor and don’t take themselves too seriously.
