About Me

Hear me read my poetry on the Bob Hoeppner band page , now with smaller, higher quality MP3s! Thanks to Goldwave . These were recorded with an Olympus VN-480PC digital voice recorder in WAV format. The Goldwave MP3s are about half the size of the original WAVs.
Poetry News (for Western MA and Northern CT)
My primary focus has been on poetry. I've been published in several places, both in print and online. I read my poems in front of audiences in Massachusetts and Connecticut. I don't have anything particularly earth-shaking to say: I just enjoy screwing around with words. The first few months of this year I took a break from poetry, but I'm getting back into it.

After a hiatus of a few months I've gotten back into poetry. I like music, and I especially enjoy listening to XM Radio on my commutes. I also enjoy discussions on politics or history. I like to spend some time outside, usually walking. I like the jasmine green tea at The Haymarket in Northampton. I have many interests, and many things I couldn't care less about.

?? Which Creature Of The Sea Are You??
brought to you by Quizilla, the quizsters on crack

Your Power Color Is Red-Orange
(even though your favorite color is blue, fool!)
At Your Highest:

You are warm, sensitive, and focused on your personal growth.

At Your Lowest:

You become defensive and critical if you feel attacked.

In Love:

You are loyal - but you demand the respect you deserve.

How You're Attractive:

You are very affectionate and inspire trust.

Your Eternal Question:

"Am I Respected?" What's Your Power Color?

You are the Death card. Death is a stage in the
cycle of life. Without death, there would be no
room for new things to grow. When you receive
the Death card in a tarot reading, fear not;
Death is only an indication that transformation
is about to occur. Death allows us all to
evolve by removing that which is no longer
needed. The end of one cycle makes way for a
new one. Old behaviours and patterns which have
tied us down are released. Death cleans house
so that we don't have needless drains on our
energy. In Death's ruthless destruction there
lies compassion. Image from: Danielle Sylvie

Which Tarot Card Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla, the quizsters on crack

You scored as Merman. Merman: Mermen are also known as Sirens. These creatures were handsome men who tricked sea-faring women into becoming completely entranced by their haunting voices and found death soon after. Not all stories of Mermen are about gentle loving sea people. They are mystical, magical, and extremely dangerous. They have a way about them that brings anyone they are around to seem enchanted. They are very mysterious creatures and to meet one... Would mean certain Death. Let the song of the Sea fill your soul, for you are a Merman.
