TORREY-TEEâ„¢ MUSIC PAGE LIVE AT JAVA CAFE JUNE 20

Originally from Dallas Texas, 19 year old hip-hop prodigy Torrey-Tee (Torrey Thomas) was raised in a family that had a strong love for music. So it was only natrual at a very young age that Torrey would take on the role of becoming Hip-Hop’s next prodigy. Now Residing in In the South Sacramento Area....Torrey has competed in several of Sacramento’s elite Talent Competition’s Such as The Apollo at Sac State and also The Center For Fathers and Families Free Flow Friday competitions in 2003 and 2004 respectively. Torrey also has experienced group success with the group Da Fellaz. Which consisted of the members Young Jay (Johnathan Hendry) and Truth B. Told (Karega Bailey). Torrey stated we just met At "The Center" (The Center For Fathers and Families and just decided to create a group". We were all interested in the same kinds of music styles so we just came together as a team and created several songs and just had fun with it". Da Fellaz win the Sacramento State University Black Student Union Apollo Nights Competition in 2004. Since then both Young Jay and Truth have elevated there minds to higher learning. Truth B. Told attends Hampton University in Virginia and Jay attends Southwest College in Los Angeles. During the time that Jon and Karega left for college Torrey began to step his MC’ing up a couple notches. "Since Jon and Karega left I have been working in the studio with Mike Hart. Mike Hart is an aspiring producer and musician. "He’s been helping me out with this whole music thing and helping me find the right sound for myself". Luckily Torrey found it and he plans to do plenty with it. As he has done already.
