The man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He grew up in a house of six, where there was four boys and one girl. Polo was the second oldest out the bunch. A mother struggling to take care of all in the palm of her hands was something he knew was hard to do. He defined it "aggrivating". "We all were knuckle heads, and drew moms crazy."
In 2002, Napolean Thurman aka Pete, the father and role model of Polo
died. The tragic marked the beginning of a star. Due to the decease of a loving father, he decided going hard in the studio would be his way out the hood. A place called murda mill. The home of Gzz and Vice lords. Growing up in the streets on the Northside of Milwaukee, he always had a passion for ball. From school ball to summer ball, he did it all. And music was like a plan B. Polo watched and learned from his brother going hard in the paint with a flow that is crazy. Q was his inspiration.
After spitten on a computer to a beat with his older brother Q, he decided to take it to another level. His music inspired none other than family first. What ever piece he had finished, the family was first to hear. And taking it to another level is still being erupted. Being heard by few but looked at by many was something he wanted to change around. His popularity in Milwaukee was at an all time high. Developing a flow of spazzing out; he hit the seen in battling, dropping mind blowing lyrics, and doing shows.
Something he desires and gives thanx to all putting him on. Polo traveling back and forth from the Midwest to the West Coast has giving him the green light to fans from coast to coast. Everything about the kid has spoken, he has been talked about from the clothes he wear to the way he approaches a mic. Polo's lyrical spittage has been noticed to worldwide. Polo is a gift to earth, and inspires a lot to what ever they want to do better than the next. Like in the words of his own, he is the guy who the people watch. Soon he will be the next to emerge to the top with none other than the best.
Polo has dropped project after project. And still he says, "There's more to come." The latest project from him is called Defined A C4. With tracks produced by Trakmatik, Mr. Cutlass, and Torrey T. Ripping the mixtape seen will soon be noticed by people all over, it's just a matter of time. In the middle of 2009, you should be expecting his debut street album entitled, "Man in the Mirror." Staying humble, being patient, and grinding helps him to success!
