About Me

After working in publicity for years, I have now branched out into coaching authors. There are many authors out there who are perfectly capable of handing a campaign on their own and I want to help those authors.I am also on a mission to help authors BEFORE they publish. There are many decisions that must be made before they sign any contracts and the average Joe or Jane usually aren't aware they even exist!Beyond that, I run a book review website www.premierbookreviews.com. I have a book awards program through there to recognize good literature I find.I have been in negotiations with a publishing company Gum Shoe Press. Next spring, my partners and I are launching a publishing company that will begin as a subsidy publisher then in 5 years move to a traditional publishing company! If things go right, we are adopting all of Gum Shoe Press' titles as well as launching out own titles!What does this mean in real words? I will be involved in a publishing company that will put competitive cover prices on their titles, pay royalties, give editorial advice, PUBLICIZE and generally treat the author with respect. To begin with, the author will need to subsidize their title which means a small fee will be asked of the author and once the author's sales have hit a point, that deposit will be returned. In 5 years, we will move to a traditional model where the author is paid an advance for the rights to their title.We won't be able to offer every author a full publishing package but we will be able to offer different features to some authors.Are you fascinated? Jackie Chan. I'm a HUGE fan. I love his smooth mix of comedy and art. There are also several authors I have worked with over the telephone and internet whom I'd love to sit down to dinner with and really get to know well.

There are so many books I can't possibly start. It the literature is sound then I adore it.

Heroes:

My heroes are those who overcome adversity to stretch for their dreams. I love those who shoot for the moon and land among the stars. I think everyone is born with that capability but those who hold onto it through the cynicism of the world are the truly remarkable people in our society.
