I love anything that sounds good. It doesn't really matter to me the genre as long as it makes me feel something....happy, sad, calm, mad, bothered, etc...if it can touch an emotion then I immediately label it "my song".
I have two all time favorite movies...."Purple Rain" and "The Color Purple".
