About Me

Thanks for taking some time to go over my page. I try to rep my people's whenever I can. A little bit about me...hmmm...well I am 28 years old. Going to school with my dream of being an ER nurse close at hand. I am very close to my family. We have been through a lot and we still have the strength to make things work out. I am the middle child and jr., which by my definition, makes me incredibly awesome. I love to paint and write. Have soo many poetry and short story books, you would think I was a library. I enjoy my friendships and brothers I have made through community work and coming out. They are the best and I would argue, the greatest group of people you could ever know. My passion is life and my expression is people. I love human connection, nothing nasty like that, but definitely creating bridges of understanding to cultures not my own. I am patient, funny and completely simple. I despise ignorance, hateful and downright mean people. I believe kindness is something we should practice more than preach and find beauty in the smiles of everyday people. If you slow down and just focus, there are many things you may have missed, that really do mean something in the end.

My Interests

I write poetry and paint abstract art. I am interested in being kind to people, laughing once a day and making each moment count.

I'd like to meet:

I am at a place in my life right now that I just want to enjoy life. With school and work, it's hard to say that I could be in anything too serious. But if something catches my attention then maybe. Who knows. Friends are great. Family never leaves you. So I have people in my life that I care deeply. Meeting people for me is so awkward because you get cheesy lines and bad breath or egotistical and careless. If I could meet someone, they would have to be around my age, fun, "out," kind and patient. I don't like confrontation but can throw down with the best of them when it comes to unjust situations. I have been an activist and now advocate for the queer community and would hope that special person would feel the same. Now, everything I just wrote...not a prerequisite. Heroes:

My mother for holding it down all by herself, my grandmother (god rest her soul) for teaching me patience and my brothers and sister through life; Loc, Jeffery, Joe-Joe, Manny and Nikki for keeping me grounded and consistent! So much of my journey through this,life has been not only memories for my nurse in the home, but a book soon to be read. I also hold this guy named Clonge close to my heart as one of my biggest heroes. what a mentor he is!
