About Me

About Me... I am a 28 year old Domestic Engineer. LOL! My husband and I have five beautiful children. My kids are 3, 4, and 9. I have two stepdaughters, ages 11 and 13. Although I enjoy spending time with my friends; these days its all about my family. I am in college full-time (Kaplan University) to finally get my degree (Special Education). I am one class away from my Associates. I will be moving on to a local school after that as this one doesn't offer Special Ed program. My youngest son will be attending school part-time in September, so I hope to work as an aid at that point. I am PTA Vice President at my daughters school. I'm Vice Chairperson of EOC county-wide policy council. I am also EOC State Representative and on the EOC Board of Directors. EOC runs our county Head Start Progran (as well as many other excellent programs), My boys have 2 more years at Head Start and I am poised to ensure they (along with others) have the best schooling possible.I am a Discovery Toys consultant, although very Part-time...mostly to myself...lol. I sell educational toys, games, and books for children of all ages. You can check out our catalog @Discoverytoysinc.com.....................My husband and I have 5 children. They are Evelyn (my sd) is 13. She has Lesions on brain, CAPD, MR and ADHD. Ashton (my sd) is 11, and has ADHD. Lizzy, my mini-me, is 9. She has ADHD Combined (severe,treated), possibly gifted (awaiting testing). Zachary, my boy is 4. He has High Functioning Autism, Childhood Bipolar, DBD-NOS, Ashtma, Acid Reflux, Excema, Allergies, Sleep Apnea, etc, etc, etc Mikey,my huseband and I's only child together, is 3. He has ECDD, Allergies, Associated Reaction, and was recently diagnosed PDD-NOS. A recent MRI showed mini strokes and focal area abnormalities. I work on educating myself and others so we are all better able to understand these and other disorders. My children are all beautiful, and I am blessed to have each of them in my life. They have taught me a lot about life and love and understanding one another. I look forward to getting to know other people who have similar interests as me.......................
