Jeffa was born February 14, 1984 in San Diego, CA. From a very young age he was blessed with an immense amount of talent in the entertainment arena. He began with dance and progressed on to theatre, poetry, songwriting and last but not least spoken word. His passion for music has drove him throughout the years on to many new ventures including DJing, and being a video jockey for various clubs and venues. In 2005, Jeffa discovered a new talent that he had not previously explored. Rapping. Inspired by an idea from a friend to put his Spoken Word to music, and then to put his recordings onto disc to promote himself, Jeffa began tinkering around with other artist beats and creating his own sound. Jeffa released his first mixtape underground in 2006 titled "Conversations With BMore Hollywood" and went on to release a few others featuring freestyles and original works of poetry, until finally he landed a gig to perform in Los Angeles for the pilot test of the Homorevolution Tour in 2007. Not only did Jeffa open the tour the following year in his hometown of San Diego, CA, but was placed on the soundtrack with his first single "Hi" under his then name "Dj Jeffa". All of this combined has finally led to his freshman album which he is currently working on as we speak. It will feature a blend of hip hop, pop, electronica and alternative, with layers of melodies, epigrams and comical lyrics.
