I'm not going to sit here and twist your mind into pretzels then dip it into bullshit of somebody that I might or might not be, it's pointless. I'm going to be straight with you I don't know shit about myself and I don't really give a fuck either. All I know is that I'm head over heels in love with hip hop, infatuated with money, addicted to nice things, it makes me happy to make other people happy and it makes me even happier to piss people off that made me mad first.

When I was little my friend's parents would tell them not to hang out with me cause I was a bad influence.. which I was. I'd steal your shoes and sell them back to you. I'm good. Now I'm grown up and becoming more unstoppable day to day. I live fast and most of you can't keep up.
So keep hating, you bitches ..

BEHIND THE MUSIC
Behind the music, inside of the speaker, through the wire and in front of the microphone sits Miss Ready.
I'm the one who gets you through your work day. I'm the one who plays the music you want to hear.
..but it wasn't always smiles, jokes and words of encouragement.
I grew up in the high class suburbs with a 'leave it to beaver' family. My parents are rich, my brother excelled in school and sports, then there was me. I had to live up to all of that and that was hard when I felt like my parents weren't really on my side and didn't care about me. I did it all anyways, from kung-fu to gymnastics to tap dance to cheerleading but still something inside of me was yearning for more.
As soon as I hit the young age of 13, I began to rebel. I was hanging out with older kids, participating in gang activity and began peddling in drugs. I would run away from home for weeks at a time on a search to find who I was through non-stop partying and getting money.
To be honest with you, those were some fun ass days even though I knew I wasn't going anywhere except on to the next day but at that point, that's all I could see in my future.
I ended up getting kicked out of 5 different high schools, getting put on probation 4 times, being put into juvy, losing lots of friends and losing the respect of the only people who were truly there for me my whole life .. my family.
I can't even count on my hands how many times I was face to face with God contemplating my existence.
It took me about 4 and a half years to realize that the life I was leading was getting me nowhere and as soon as I got out of juvy, served out my house arrest and probation from that case, I swore I'd change my life for the better and begin to lead by example.
Would I take it all back an re-do my teenage years if I could? Fuck no.
It sculpted me into who I am today.
It's been a little over a year now since all of that and look at me now.
I may have a rough exterior, look like a porn star, act goofy and sometimes hella weird, speak like a drunk pirate but the truth of it all is, I'm just as ambitious as any 'nerd' that stays at home all day studying .. the only difference is that I'm a libra so I can balance my wild side out with my dorky one.
To give you a little insight about me - I'm an up and coming radio personality first starting out hosting my own show at KNOZ-LP 96.5 for 8 months in Sacramento with my afternoon show that came on Monday through Friday 10am-2pm. After 3 years of being affiliated with the (916) Hip Hop Magazine and KNOZ, it was time to fly out of the nest. This summer I'll be interning for KSFM 102.5 to further expand my knowledge of radio, plus, I'll get to work with the top personalities in Sac! How blessed am I?!
Since I was 16 I've been a journalist for the 916 and Yay Area Magazines so if you think you're tight and you want your CD reviewed by someone who's going to be real with you, holla!
Also, make sure to keep your eyes peeled for my men and women's clothing line "Ready Squad" so that way when you see it, you'll know who the mastermind behind that creation was.
I feel extremely blessed that at such a young age I already know what I want to do with my life and on top of that I am going for it.
