About Me

I've lived all over the U.S. and I chose San Jose of all places to settle down. What does that say about me? I like the people out here and the winter weather can't be beat. I'm a classic Irish bastard, and that's what makes me so lovable. I like most types of music, and I'm always up for an intellectual debate if you are.UPDATE: I have moved on to Scotts Valley, the land of the silent mountains. This place is cool as shit!

My Interests

Music, internet crap, hiking, reading, lively debates about religion and politics, pissing YOU off

I'd like to meet:

Someone who is confident, smart, funny, blah blah blah. I'm looking for the same person everyone else is, I guess. They must be very popular. I just don't like conceit, it's ugly. So are warts.UPDATE: I have someone now. Please return all receipts to Customer Service.

Music:

Rolling Stones, Propagandhi, The Cliftons, Beastie Boys,The Moonie Suzuki, The Byrds, The Pogues, Pixies, Joy Division, Grateful Dead( yeah, yeah, can it. Look at your own list before throwing rocks), 80's stuff, lots of old jazz, old blues, old stuff in general, local bands(they need the support), and beans, because they are the musical fruit.

Movies:

Young Frankenstein, Red Dawn, Hedwig, The Big Lebowski, Taxi Driver, GoodFellas, Pulp Fiction

Television:

I don't watch TV, I think it ruins your imagination. Ok, Ok, just kidding. I will watch anything on TV as long as it distracts me from the pains of the world, or if it has ninjas. Ninjas ROCK!

Books:

Desperation, The Regulators, The Dark Tower books, most anything by Clive Cussler, old Dean Koontz, 24 Hours, Last Man Standing, Gravity, Salem's Lot, A Confederacy of Dunces

Heroes:

Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Conan, Gabe Kaplan, ALF, The Sleestaks, Marshall, Will, and Holly, The Far Out Space Nuts, Captain Kool and The Kongs, wait...

Squat and Fight!

The squats at Francis Street in Vancouver, B.C. were one of the few truly communal projects I saw work for transients. The squats gave a sense of belonging and purpose. this was no place to simply "cr...

Ghosts in Atlanta

While I was in the land of red clay, I spent a little time at a place called the "Rainbow Farm". I know it sounds stupid, but this place was wierd. I t seems as though every person who lived there end...

Well well well...

I haven't been here on MySpace.com in a while. I guess I forgot all about it while screwing around on Friendster. Being a writer, you would think there would be more on this journal, but you would be ...

first post

Well, this might be faster than Friendster, but there doesn't seem to be anyone here. I should really put up a more flattering picture of myself, but I don't think there is one.
