Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Fiona Apple, pretty much all music from the 60s and 70s, and some of everything else.
So as not to have a ridiculously long list here, since I could go on adding movies for days, I'll just mention the tops. My favorite genre is horror, I'm especially fond of slashers (the Friday the 13th series, Texas Chainsaw Massacre '74 and TCM2) and the films of George Romero. Honorable mentions to Return of the Living Dead and the Evil Dead trilogy. Other favorite current filmmakers include Kevin Smith, Richard Linklater, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, and the Coen brothers. Favorite non-horror franchise: the James Bond series. I'm into independent/low budget films, the grindhouse/drive-in era, and almost anything that airs on Turner Classic Movies.
