The Nice Tries were one of the fastest and strongest punk rock bands to come out of the valley in the new millenium. They rocked Stockton, Sacramento and the Bay Area for three years from 2002 to 2005, sticking religiously to classic punk rock sound and rhythm. The Nice Tries were proud to give shout outs to those who influenced them with covers like The Surrogate Brain's 'Giant' and Motorhead's 'Ace of Spades'. Their original music was fast and hard and brought a fever and emotion to the local music scene.Since disolving, the members of TNT have gone on to form many other bands. Ed Bonilla is currently rocking local bars with his rock and roll cover band Ed and the Educators. Santino the Butcher and Wayno have moved on to much success with Harvey and the Bloodletters with rock veteran, and local hero Duby War of The Surrogate Brains. Pat Nice is currently rocking in several bands including Self Destroyer, and continues living the punk rock dream. Eric Lopez has moved to Nashville to live the rock and roll dream and is currently a studio musician there.Everyone will be around for one weekend this November!
