After a few personnel changes, the band found its core within its current, rock-solid line up. With Ten years of U.S. and European touring under their belts and with a tattooed arms length of singles, eps and compilation appearances to their credit, STRYCHNINE has been able to sharpen its hard-edged craft into a fine point. Their full-length disc, Dead Rats and Oakland Dogs (East Bay Menace Records) got the thumbs up in punk zines from Maximum Rocknroll to Flipside. One critic called the 2001 follow-up, Born Too Loose (Industrial Strength Records), A major action blasthits you like a full keg thrown at you at 100 mph! Their live LP/CD Intitled " Die Oakland Stadtmusikanten " Live in Bremen Germany , Has recieved glowing reviews in Fanzines and webzines all around the world , Skratch Magazine called it " A great live disc " and " An absolute brutal jewel ".Now in 2005 Strychnine has released a new Lp/Cd called "Born in a Bar" On TKO(Cd) and Depth Charge (Lp) .Reviews are Pouring in ,some love it some hate it ,go buy it and Judge for your selfs...
