About Me



My name is Connie and I live in Virginia with my husband Raj but I'm from Michigan. We don't have kids yet but hope to soon. In the meantime we have one very spoiled pug and two crazy cats. Friends beware: I will send you silly pug pics!

I'm fairly laid back but I have a wicked sense of humor at times. I am an introvert and need a lot of down time to recharge. I have a very big heart, which can be my strength and my weakness. I love movies with silly, stupid humor. I despise cold weather! Know that when you see me, I truly want to be at the pool on a beach resort in Mexico. I love my family and friends with all my heart! I'm horrible about keeping in touch with people and I really should kick myself in the ass for it. I'm actually hoping myspace will help me keep in touch...ya know, since picking up the phone is so difficult.

For over 10 years I have had the same three favorite artists: Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, and Ani Difranco.I love a wide range of music. Other favorites: Nickelback, Nine Inch Nails, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Tara MacLean, & Enya.

I love Dancing with the Stars! I'm also addicted to the following soaps: General Hospital, One Life to Live and All my Children. I watch wrestling when I remember it's on.

I enjoy books dealing with psychology or womens studies. Other favorites include: The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley, White Oleander by Janet Fitch, Tori Amos: Piece by Piece by Tori Amos and Ann Powers, The Secret Message of Jesus by Brian McLaren, Appearances: clearings through the masks of our existence by Rusty Berkus and the Tao of Pug by Wilson the Pug. Some favorite authors: Maya Angelou, Jodi Picoult, Anne Lamott, Patricia Cornwell. I love art books, especially those with fairies. Amy Brown and Nene Thomas are awesome!
