About Me

My life is really not that interesting. I own a gourmet pizza place called Terra Cotta that people seem to like and I work for a major market radio station called 93.9 The River. I love music and I love food and that is why I do what I do. I miss my father every day since he passed away. He was the biggest influence on my life and I still try to do the things he taught me. Because of him, I have learned to sit back and listen to people before I make a judgement. I wish more people would do that. I have learned from him that to be happy with others, you need to be happy with yourself. Life is not about the size of your wallet, car, boobs or house. It is about living and being happy. My Dad worked hard and he taught me that things are only valuable when you work for them. Being given everything will not make you appreciate it more. Working for it makes it more appreciated and valuable to you. Everything takes work. We are a throwaway society. And that makes me sad. People throw away their friendships, relationships and items that they own. Very few of us are willing to fight for what we believe in. My dad always said that if you want it, you will fight with all your heart to get it. Don't be afraid to expose your heart. Sometimes you will get hurt but more times you will be rewarded with everything you wished for. Happiness is a wonderful thing. Nowadays everyone wants instant gratification but that gratification is usually only fleeting. People feel bad about themselves and they get plastic surgery, the only thing that changes is the body part. They still have the mindset that they are not what they want yet. Beauty is within. People need to slow down and look at a small child and see the world through their eyes. Life is amazing. Life is beautiful. How lucky are we that we can see a sunset, a rainbow and the beauty of nature. How lucky are we that we can feel a hug, see a smile or receive a kiss? This is the important part of life, not the new car or raise from work. Take time to smell the flowers and tell the people in your life that you love them everyday. Because one day, you will lose your chance and that is the saddest day of them all. But just remember that life will always keep going on. The day my father passed away was raining and cold when we went to the hospital. When we left the hospital, it was sunny and warm. Don't fret over things. I have learned alot from this experience and other relationships that life goes on and if you keep going, things have a way of turning out the way you had always hoped. Thanks for reading this blurb about me and my views. Tomorrow there is a test on it. Good luck and may you find the peace you need!!
