LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I'M PROUD TO INTRODUCE YOU ALL TO...
KAN'NAL
I like all sorts of movies, but mostly ones with heavy special effects for the theaters. Fantasy, horror, action, and comedies are the ones I usually watch, but I'll watch a good drama or, dare I say, romance if Jenna wants to watch it. I must be seriously disturbed because one of my favorite movies of all time is House of a 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. Others include Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Grudges, The Saws, Wrong Turn, Return of the Living Dead, 28 Days Later, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army of Darkness, Jeepers Creepers, Dracula, Near Dark, Interview with a Vampire, Queen of the Damned, Van Helsing, Exorcist, The Howling, American Werewolf in London, Wolf, Dog Soldiers, Halloween/Nightmare on Elm Street/Friday the 13th movies are fun once in a while, Ghoulies, The Shining, The Hitcher, Scream, Pumpkinhead, Cujo, Salem's Lot, Children of the Corn, Dusk til Dawn, Fright Nights, The Lost Boys, Underworld, Wishmaster, Puppetmasters, Resident Evil, Trick or Treat, Old Abbott and Costello Movies, Starsky and Hutch, Animal, Duece Bigalow, Tommy Boy, Shallow Hal, School of Rock, Holiday, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny, Blades Of Glory, Old School, Barber Shop, Friday, Dogma, Made, Swingers, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, Anger Management, Longest Yard (both of them), Wild West, School Daze, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Do The Right Thing, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Nothing But Trouble, Stripes, Caddyshack, Kill Bills, Star Trek movies, Matrix series, Star Wars series, X-Men movies, Batman movies, Spiderman 2, Hellboy, Daredevil, The Punisher (not with Dolph), Heavy Metal, Rock and Rule, Finding Nemo, Shrek, Ice Age, Gangs of New York, Fight Club, The Last Samarai, The Last of the Mohicans, Dances With Wolves, The Patriot, Training Day, Enemy of the State, Conspiracy Theory, Lean On Me, Shawshank Redemption, American History X, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, The Game, ANYTHING that the Rock has acted in, Terminator series, Aliens movies, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Oceans 11, Ghostbusters, Blazing Saddles, Rat Race, Cannonball Run, Smokey and the Bandits, Jackie Chan movies, LORD OF THE RINGS (OH MY GOD!), and probably quite a few more I've forgot for now.Oh, and watch for me to come out with some WICKED ideas one way or another that have been going through my mind for years, inspired by hardcore horror with a more 'common sense' attitude. You all know what I'm talking about too. Don't go in the damn house in Texas uninvited when your car is broke down kinda thing. BUT, I have a twist only I am willing to unleash on the world so sick and crazy my closest friends have cringed at the thought of me even thinking that way. Let me say Clive Barker at a young age probably had a lot to do with it. So, that all said, WATCH. (sinister smile)
I HAVEN'T WATCHED TV SINCE SEPTEMBER OF 2007!!! Crazy huh? Well, I also have never got so much accomplished either. Think of all the time you WASTE in front of the IDIOT BOX! It desensitizes us to our wasted lives that we lead every day at those jobs we HATE. It makes us forget what maybe shouldn't be forgotten. But, hey, if you can control the addiction and it's no more than entertainment once in a while then hurray for you, but I'm much happier without it.I miss a few shows though. I used to watch a lot of cartoons. Some of my favorites are FAMILY GUY, South Park, The Simpsons, Futurama, King Of The Hill, Samarai Jack, Batman, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, X-Men, Superman, Spiderman, Home Movies, and some other Adult Swim toons. I also watched some court TV shows once in a while like Judge Judy. Cops or Police Videos. Anything to do with the paranormal like Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted Places, etc. Blue Collar TV. Saturday Night Live. Mad TV. Mind of Mencia. Deal Or No Deal. It really all depended on when I was actually home to watch TV though. It also depended on if I was wasting my life on another 'trap', the PS2, or not, lol. Haven't done much of that either, but still like a good game of Guitar Hero or the classics once in a while.
Sanford Meisner's On Acting, How To Write A Movie In 21 Days, Lee Strasberg's A Dream Of Passion, Marine Reef Aquarium Handbook, Indoor Bonsai, Anne Rice's vampire chronicles, True History of Vampires, Dracula, The Talisman, Silver Bullet, The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan, the Dragonlance chronicles, Encyclopedia and Practical Guide to Feng Shui, Mind of the Druid, Natural Magic, You Are Psychic, Dreams, Sexual Astrology, and Clive Barker's vast collection. Oops, almost forgot what should be mandatory reading, The Celestine Prophecy series. Let's not even get into the comics, but my favorite would have to be Todd McFarlane's Spawn series. Also, lately, I've been reading a LOT of material online about saltwater aquariums and everything to do with them. Plus, I do a lot of research about all sorts of things online now.
Anyone who saves lives for a living, fights for our freedom, or who lives their dreams! THANK YOU ALL!
And specifically, Melissa Cross
for her DVDs, "The Zen Of Screaming" AND "The Zen Of Screaming 2". Every SERIOUS minded extreme singer or any singer for that matter should check these out as soon as possible!
ALSO, would like to mention Kirk Perron, the founder of one of my favorite places,
I try to have at least one Jamba in place of a meal every day for at least 4 days out of the week. So far, I'm sure it's helped me in losing the 15 - 20 pounds I've lost since I've been in Hollywood. The POWER OF FRUIT!!
