About Me

My name is Annette and I presently live in Brooklyn, New York. I moved to Brooklyn at the age of 3. I was raised and grew up in N.Y. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education and I am on a sabbatical leave from the Board of Education as a Special Education Teacher. I have a big family and a lot of friends. I do volunteer work at an adult center everyday and enjoy it very much. I also tutor students to help them get their G.E.D.'s or youngsters who need help with their homework and exams. For anyone, who needs a tutor in Reading, Language Arts, English, Spanish or Mathematics send me a message through here at myspace.com/love1angel and I will gladly get back to you to set up a time to begin the tutoring sessions. I like to travel and have been to most states in the United States, to different cities in Canada, to Bermuda and many of the Caribbean Islands on cruises in my lifetime. I would like to travel to other countries now, however cannot find anyone at this time to go with me. If you or someone you know need a traveling companion, feel free to contact me here to set up a meeting time and place to make plans together. I haven't been to a concert or a Broadway show in a while and would also like to go to them in the near future. I plan on returning to my job as a teacher in September 2008. By 2010, I plan on moving to Florida at least 6 months out of the year.

My Interests

I primarily have an interest with my family and my good friends. Secondarily I am interested in my iMac Computer, Knowing Spanish, Doing Crossword Puzzles, Watching Movies & Television, Comedy, Comedians, Current Events, Travelling, and Going on Cruises.

Television:

Ugly Betty, George Lopez, Roseanne, Louis C.K., Makeover Home Edition, Super Nanny, Wife Swap, Access Hollywood, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Sex and the City, The Bernie Mac Show, Everybody Loves Raymond, Most Game Shows. I Do Not Like any of the Reality Shows except for "Dancing With The Stars" and the only time I enjoy American Idol is when it gets towards the end and the singers are mostly all very good by then... I watch Jay Leno on the Tonight Show every night and then Conan O'Brien on the Late Show. Sometimes I'll catch Oprah on late instead of Conan and check out Jimmy Kimmel Live to see who he has on. I can't stand David Letterman. I don't think he's funny at all. And Craig Kilborn is amateurish. Every morning I watch the Today Show on Channel 4 for the News and then switch to channel 7 for the rest of the morning to see Live with Regis and Kelly Ripa, Rachael Ray is good and then since they got Rosie O'Donnell, the View has gotten better than before. I no longer watch any talk shows except for Tyra Banks on the Oxygen Channel sometimes late at night. Basically, I grew up in the television era and depend on it for entertainment purposes.

Books:

Self-Help Books, Books about Psychology, Auto-Biographies, Non-Fiction. In the past I read many of the V.C. Andrews & Danielle Steele novels. In college, I used to really like to read the textbooks on the class topics.

Heroes:

The Rev.Dr.Martin Luther King Jr., Pres. John F. Kennedy, Pres. Abraham Lincoln. My Mother and My Father.

Bush's Iraqi War

How does Bush expect to get a different result with the same tactic. He wants to send 20,000 more boys to Iraq to fight in their Civil War iin the name of our democracy.He has no logic or rationale...
