We are an A/Fuel race team out of Denver, Colorado. We have been racing together for the last 8 yrs. It started out with a blown alcohol 1960 Chevy Pro-Mod car that we raced for 3 years. After the '60 we moved up to a Top Alcohol dragster. That car lasted for 5 runs until a parachute malfunction. She ran off the end of the track at nearly 200mph. Needless to say,the car was destroyed! We took 2 years off to regroup and to justify the need for speed There is no way to stay away from this game! Once it's in your blood, you just can't shake it!!! We went to the biggest and oldest race in drag racing, and that's where we discovered vintage drag racing. What a show!!!! Vintage drag racing is the fastest growing race series out there, and it is the best show in racing in our opinion. We returned home from that show, and immediatly started building this vintage A/Fuel car. Please enjoy the photos, videos, and team bios. We welcome all comments, and questions.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

This is the Hutsler-Davidson Racing team bios. *---Craig Hutsler---* started racing in 1964. Raced a '57 Olds and several other cars. Moved onto a blown '63 Corvette. '73 teamed up with Dave Greer –econo rail dragster. '74 moved up to a b-fuel injected small block on nitro—later that year put the small block up for a early model hemi running a-fuel until '75 when pro comp became a class. Went to a blown alcohol Donovan 417. '76 teamed up with Roy Perman out of Russel Kansas with technical help from the late great Al Weis of the famed Al Weiss and Jimmy Scott team—that lasted 3 months After that teamed with Vern and Brian Raymer. Bringing along the combination of Roy Perman from prior team and further technical help from Al Weiss--Helped put Raymer & Company on the map. Numerous nation event wins and world and divisional championships 1979—NHRA division 5 sportsman mechanic of the year. Served as technical advisor on many div 5 and div 7 teams. Gave technical help to greats such as Mike Troxell and Richard Ogg.Raced until ‘89. Holder of numerous track records*---Myke Davidson---* Started racing in 1969 driving an A/FD. Raced in C/ED from 1976 to 1979. Moved to Pro-Comp with a blown, alcohol small block Chevy dragster in 1980. Raced in TAD until 1985. Drove Alcohol funny car from 1985 to 1989.Raced front engine blown alcohol dragster from 1990 to 1996. One of the first drivers in Division 5 to earn points in both alcohol dragster and alcohol funny car.*---Howard Corwin---* My interest in cars , like most everybody, started in High School in 1954. My driving coach was a Lakeside Modified driver, so naturally the love of speed started early. Not having any money to build an all out race car, I had to play with my daily driver. That led to the start of a career mostly in street/drag racing. My interest got serious when I lost my drivers license and thought the best way to not drive is to strip all the nonessential street crap off.. So I made a Drag Race only 1939 Ford. Through the years I had an assortment of Drag Cars From Gassers to Top Fuel Dragsters. I learned that I had an unusual interest in making power. I drove my share of these cars including a Fuel Altered, and a Pro stock Vega that ended up on it’s top at Bandimere Speedway. My real interest was in making as much power as I could,so I pretty well stuck to tuning and left the driving to the much crazier of my partners. The last few years I have had the pleasure of helping Dick Surratt keep his Vintage Midgets running. Now as well as supplying the engine for his “BIG” car, I am restoring a Midget that belonged to a good friend that passed away of Cancer. I hope to bring it out this year. Don’t want to work too hard now that I’m retired
