The Booze Bombs are comprised of members of different bands that are very popular in the southern region of Germany. Lucky Steve McBread is the head and lead singer/guitar player for the Country/Hillbilly band "Devils and Sons (http://www.Devils-und-Soehne.de). King Eric also plays bass in the Rock 'n' Roll bank called "Tattoo 59." Dr. Aleks Eightball, the drummer, is the founder of the punk band "Supermug."
Their love for early 50's Rock 'n' Roll brought them together a couple years back. They are the hottest rockabilly band in the Black Forest region as well as Southern Germany. They really heat up things when they perform their rip roaring Rock 'n' Roll with songs by Johnny Burnette, Ted Herold and Chuck Berry, as well as many of their own original songs.
Also part of this great band is singer Annie Leopardo. Her voice will just about blow anyone away. She's a must see for sure. Annie is also a member of "Devils and Sons."

The Booze Bombs. Wild Rockabilly. Irgendwo im fernen Amerika wurde in den Fifties der Rock 'n' Roll geboren. Im November 2002 trafen in einer Kleinstadt namens Calw im Nordschwarzwald Lucky Steve McBread (Gesang/Gitarre), King Eric (Kontrabass) und Dr. Aleks Eightball (Schlagzeug) aufeinander: The Booze Bombs wurden geboren.
Alle vier Mitglieder der Rockabilly-Band sind in der Calwer Musikszene kein unbeschriebenes Blatt: Lucky Steve McBread ist der Kopf der Hillbilly-Bands Devils & Soehne und The Hillbilly Heroes, King Eric spielt Bass fuer die Rock 'n' Roll Band "Tattoo 59," und Dr. Aleks Eightball ist der Macher der Punkrock-Band Supermug, bei der er die Schiessbude bedient.
Ihre Leidenschaft fuer die Musik der 50er-Jahre brachte die vier zusammen. Seitdem praesentiert die wohl heisste Rockabilly-Band, die es im Nordschwarzwald gibt, ihrem Publikum wilde Rhythmen im Stile der Fuenfziger. Da kann es schon mal vorkommen, dass bei Klassikern von Johnny Burnette, Ted Herold, Chuck Berry und anderen Interpreten die Tanzflaeche zum Kochen gebracht wird.
Das Programm der Booze Bombs umfasst natuerlich neben Coversongs auch Eigenkompositionen wie die Hit-Single Le Petit Bistro. Bei den Konzerten oefter mal als Gaeste dabei sind Ramblin Boogie Woogie Hardy John (Piano) aus Freudenstadt, der bekannt ist durch seine Solo-Auftritte im Nordschwarzwald, und die stimmgewaltige Schwarzwald-Roehre Annie Leopardo, die so manches Maennerherz hoeher schlagen laesst.
