Bonjour !!! My name is Charlotte Yanni, I called myself Chayanne on myspace because its short for my full name ( CHArlotte YANNi), I am french but with a geordie accent apparently because I have been living in sunny South Shields since 6 years now and learned english with my other half Kev.
I started playing and singing oct 2005 after I discovered KT Tunstall ( and got the chance to meet her), just got hooked and never stopped since !!!!
I'm now doing a foundation degree in applied music practice so i can improve faster and learn all the tricks to record my own album.
I wrote my first song " How she Felt" about a month after i started playing, it just came naturally so I thought I would continue in that direction even though with a full band I'd like to rock a bit more.
I've got some more material in all different styles and languages as I'm french but i write mainly in english.You can see some of my videos on youtuve doing covers and originals songs:
