About Me

Poster Child was formed as a result of greed. One night in downtown Naperville, Sean and Matt came upon a guy playing guitar and singing on the street. They immediately decided that they were better than him, and, so, set up and played across the street from him. Later asking Rob and Melody to join in order to strengthen the vocal harmonies, they were asked to play a few minor shows. Cj was then asked to join the band, and the shows cemented them together as a band.Despite playing shows, the ultimate goal of the band is to have one hit song and ride the residuals from that song to their graves, a la "Breakfast at Tiffany's".Poster Child has been met with moderate success, playing shows in and around the Chicago-land area, including two shows that The Note. Although, they have not yet put together a complete album, several singles have slowly been recorded and leaked onto the internet.
