About Me

Better than you anyhoo. I am a traveller on this path of life. While others may sprint , I mosey on at a medium pace, watching those soar ahead of me and having a damn good laugh when they fall arse over tit.I harbour ambitions of writing. In fact it would be fair to say I do more than harbour them, I give them a good refitting and scrape the barnicles off the bottom of the hull, adding a good lick of paint for good measure. I lack ambition. I have report cards to prove it. I also got detention once for spitting out a window. My shit got undone by the man.I am an officiado of all things indie and alternative. I once went out with a girl mainly because she looked like Hope Sandoval. I like twee, but not too twee. under this hard chuck norris like exterior (I don't read books I stare them down) there lies an even harder interior.I don't like cats. Or Kittens.I run 'in the face' an infrequently popular monday night live band showcase in Katy Dalys. I also DJ and can do sound and have some pictures of me taken by a professional photographer, which makes me a model, honest. And not a nudey one either. I kept it in my pants.The magic of the film is they look like rabbits, but talk and act like people

My Interests

Music really. but not the business end. I don't have the patience to learn an instrument. Films, preferably about war. Hanging out, keeping it real and calling no man Mr

I'd like to meet:

Hairslide girls and either the Helen Unit from Ladytron or Karen O. And after I've met her she too will realise just how meant for each other we are and we'll have children and form a family band and tour the counrty AND YOU WON'T BE INVITED

Music:

The Mighty Jesus and Mary Chain. They rule. Other bands like the Bunnymen, the Fall, Joy Division/New Order, associates, Teardrop. Yo La Tengo, ENVY (The japanese ENVY not the shit american one)Malkmus. Basically what I'm saying is GIMMIE INDIE ROCK

Movies:

War movies. and anything with zombies. Or ninjas. And 'arthouse'

Television:

Animated comedy in a family guy vein. Especially the much underrated King of the Hill. Lost is pretty frickin' compelling too, but I don't get much time with the idiot box.

Books:

Slaughterhouse 5. I wish I had have read it when I was younger as I would have obsessed about it big time. Catch 22. Factual history and rock bio.

Heroes:

Jim Reid. Napoleon Dynamite. (he has good skills)
