Everything tastes better wrapped in a tortilla, smothered in cheese, and dipped in salsa.

About Me

I'm Joe. I live with my wife. I like vegetables. I would play drums if they were smaller. I don't think that people are weird enough. If people were weirder, the world would be a better place. I enjoy being a nerd. My wife is very good at hiding her nerdiness, but I can still see it and it's hot.

I'm a mechanical engineer and I'm working toward making lots of cool things to help people.

My Interests

Audio, speakers, gadgets, designing stuff. Music and drums, syncopated rhythms.
My wife, Kendra.

I'd like to meet:

People around Berkeley who are into board games and helping me move heavy things.

Music:

I enjoy music with guitars and drums, with a bit of distortion on the guitars but not so much that you can't hear a tune. I like good beats, thought provoking lyrics, and musicians who keep it real and take risks. I could list a bunch of bands on here, but do people really read it when you list your whole play list as your musical interest?

Movies:

I netflix when there's time, but anything by M Night Shyamalan is out of bounds. Signs was stupid, Lady in the Water was horrible, The Village sucked, and the Sixth Sense was only OK because I was half drunk and didn't know who directed it when I saw it and didn't catch on to the surprise twist ending until it happened. Geez, every M Night Shyamalan movie has a freakin twist ending with some big surprise, or revelation, or some bullshit. I don't know how I keep watching all his movies, but it stops here. No more.

Television:

TV? Don't usually have time, but I'll flip between History, Discovery, and Comedy channels if I watch.

Books:

I'm looking for new books. I like science fiction but it feels like I've read all the good ones.

Heroes:

The electron. Also, my parents.
