About Me

I have PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease), but in my case, I only have one kidney. This is due to the fact that the doctors found PKD on my left kidney, and no signs of it yet on my right side. That was in late 2003. Just about the end of April of this year, I spent a week and a half in the hospital, and guess what; I now have PKD on my one kidney left. Now, I can't work because of the amount of pain that I'm in and the amount medicine that I must take and have since lost our home. Me and my wife and three kids and are homeless. I am being placed on the kidney transplant list at the Mayo Clinic, here in Phoenix, AZ. Things are really bad, and I don't know if I will be able to wait for a kidney (due to the average amount of time, is 8- 11 months for a donated kidney). I am not telling you all of this to ask for money, but I donâ€™t know what else to do.
