Bio: &nbsp Not a newcomer to the diverse club scene DJ Gordo displays the talent one must have to rock any crowd. Djing since an early age, his style of mixing and turntables impressed many, earning him respect and first club residency @ Zero Gravity in 2001. This opened his doors to many avenues and between 2002 & 2003, DJ Gordo released over 13 Mix CDs totaling sales of over 25,000 Cds sold throughout the Midwest making him a household name. With this great success under his belt, DJ Gordo decided to takeover and manage his own record shop, Chicago’s Legendary HIP HOUSE. After making key contacts and learning the business side of the music industry, DJ Gordo wanted to pursue his love for music and in 2004 opportunity struck. DJ Gordo was offered a club residency in Daytona, Florida at a New Megaclub & made the move. For the ensuring year, DJ Gordo spun weekly at virtually every club throughout Central Florida for capacity crowds making his career choice clear. In 2005, DJ Gordo decided to make music his fulltime focus and moved back home to NW Indiana. Here he formed PLAN B PROMO, which is now one of Indiana’s Top 21+ promotion company. After djing & promoting for NW Indiana’s Top Nightclubs, nearby Chicago was the next city on his agenda. Within one short year Gordo mixed at top clubs & venues such as Spybar, Vision, Ontourage, Zentra, Smartbar, House of Blues, Congress Theater & Energy to begin his Chicago resume. Currently working with Chicago’s Biggest Promoters, DJ Gordo now holds residencies at the Hottest Nightclubs such as Crobar, Vision, Moda, Buzz, Climax, Transit, Ruby and frequent guest spots at Stone Lotus, Republic, Wet, Energy, Mission, and more! Recognized as one of Chicago’s Most Underrated DJ’s, DJ Gordo has earned the respect thiat is needed to make it in the music industry from the promoters who book him and club goers that follow him. In 2008, expect more that just a “DJ” as he is now working on production to be released this winter!
