Welcome to Max Volume's space. (This page is Weezer Blue. The other is Weezer Green). The Max Volume Band is Max Volume (Guitars), John Gaddis (Bass), Lenny Supera (Lead Guitar), and Greg Sample (Drums). The Max Volume Band began recording the 3rd studio cd "illuminaughty" in the Summer of 2007. With Max Volume again writing, or co-writing the entire thing. The message of illuminaughty is simple: No matter what evil is wished upon you, spoke about you, or done to you, stand by your ethics and principles, and continue to be you; illumined yet naughty. There will be highs and lows, peaks and valleys, but always be who you are, for even on your worst day, there are those who could only hope to be a glimmer of you on their best. The game is not over, until you stop playing. There are those, who can only feel better about themselves, by tearing down others, while you will always build people up. Bring all the love to all you do...In the studio; with John Gaddis on Bass, former Edgar Winter, Sammy Hagar, Pat Travers & Michael Furlong Drummer Chuck Ruff, and Widgeon Holland (Google him) on Lead Guitar, and Max Volume on Guitars, Vocals, & Keyboards, the band's sound had found it's place. The CD would be a record like no-one makes any more, a story. A Rock song, an acoustic song, a blues song, a forest, a beach, a cloudburst. The CD was released to rave reviews on Nov. 1, 2007. It's available World wide on ITunes, Mp3 sites like Digstation, and CDBaby.com. The band has had some serious gigs, playing with a lot of great bands, either locals, or National Acts. Widgeon left for Europe and Lenny Supera joined the band. Lenny brings his legendary axe work to life on the music. Chuck Ruff quit in May of '08, and was replaced by the awesome power of Greg Sample. The Max Volume Band will be onstage and giving people the straight ahead Rock people love, so try to make it to a show! Max started out in 2001, doing his thing, writing his own music. Back then he was called "The Monster Truck of Acoustic Guitars". Which meant furious fretwork and open tunings made Max Volume a show to see. The UNR Sagebrush called Max Volume "A cross between Nirvana and Led Zeppelin- Pure Beach Bonfire Music". A regular opener in Northern Nevada, for the likes of Foghat, Steve Morse, Pat Travers, Sugarloaf, Ned Evett, Dave Mason, Widgeon Holland, Mickey Thomas, Mumbo Gumbo, Edgar Winter, Reo Speedwagon, Firefall and more; Max has entertained crowds at the local watering hole, to thousands, in concert opener slots. Whether full on electric, intense acoustic, or throwing down with the solid steel chrome dobro, he plays genuine American Rock'n'Roll. Backed on "illuminaughty" by his co- conspirators Chuck Ruff on Drums, Widgeon Holland on Lead Guitar, and John Gaddis on Bass, the band is now joined by Lenny Supera on Lead Guitar. Lenny's solo catalog includes the renowned "Fools Gate", and "Snarl", along with BurningPeace masterpieces. Widgeon Holland is on "Extended Canary Islands Tour Of Duty". The Max Volume band flat out kicks ass.
