About Me

Guitarist since 1980. Played in first band Flying Maniax at age 16. Joined many bands over the years in styles ranging from rock, metal, blues, jazz, and funk to country. Featured in Guitar Magazine's "Resume" section June 1990. Spent most of the '90's doing studio projects. Five albums were released: Comin' At Ya (1990), Technical Difficulties (1995), Fool's Gate (1999), Guitar Stuff 1987-2001 (2001) and Snarl (2002). Fool's Gate and Snarl were co-produced with Adam Puchalski at his Washington-based Windstudio. Met Todd South and Cap Stapp and formed Burning Peace in 2002, which marked a return to live performing. Two albums and one DVD were released: Over The Water (2003), Live Volume One (2004), and Live at Walden's October 2006. For more info on Burning Peace, check out the BP MySpace page. Current projects are a new BP album, a new solo album, and several archival releases featuring material dating back to 1986. Joined Max Volume Band in late 2007 with Chuck Ruff (drums, vocals), John Gaddis (bass, vocals) and Max Volume (lead vocals, guitar). Mike Wortman (drums) joined MVB in October 2008. MVB has been on hiatus since September 2009 while Max works on his forthcoming album.
