About Me

QuitMeter Counter courtesy of www.quitmeter.com .For a formal introduction, my name is Steven. The darkness and lightness of the page represents the balancing emotions in my life. Emotions are the fundamentals of human anatomy. You dont see me walking through the crowd of people; instead im off to the side not paying attention, gracefully observing the enviroment while enjoying melodies, if not from a cd player, then the sounds of everything that happens around me. I try to think of life as one big movie - with all the up's and downs, so im constantly thinking of how to make a film out of my experiences. I enjoy my time alone - to read, play some guitar tunes, or just generally doing average shit - you get the idea. I perceive myself as a thoughtful, nice individual. I'll treat you how i would want to be treated. You can never have enough friends, so don't be afraid to drop a line or to.
---------------------------------------------

Life means suffering.

To live means to suffer, because the human nature is not perfect and neither is the world we live in. During our lifetime, we inevitably have to endure physical suffering such as pain, sickness, injury, tiredness, old age, and eventually death; and we have to endure psychological suffering like sadness, fear, frustration, disappointment, and depression. Although there are different degrees of suffering and there are also positive experiences in life that we perceive as the opposite of suffering, such as ease, comfort and happiness, life in its totality is imperfect and incomplete, because our world is subject to impermanence. This means we are never able to keep permanently what we strive for, and just as happy moments pass by, we ourselves and our loved ones will pass away one day, too.

"Hate is just another
word for someone you love
but no longer believe in."

Along the hidden path, the remnants of a once-thriving railroad resides. Each step taken on the jagged rocks, and each glance at nature's beauty that has overgrown the trail, are not in vain. Morbid markings are visible along the path, which includes the non-decompisition of an infant body that hangs silenty from a weathered tree branch. A fishing boat, that has obviously lost its purpose, remains undisturbed to the side of the trail like a murdered child's spirit awaiting discovery. The clouds never gather over this path of lonliness, and the sky remains blue as the ocean. Further down the horizon, a bridge passes over a major highway, marking the arrival back to society and the end to a moment of peace.
