What was suppose to be a full blown commercial recording studio became Bay Area's up and coming indie label, "Sticky Note Records". Sticky Note Records was born in 2000 by a dj/ producer and a dj/graphic artist who both had the same passion and love for hip hop music. These two guys developed a strategy to help the bay area out by finding hot local artists with talent and skills that no one can deny, such as Drunken Starfighter, P Strong the Blacksmith and Da Hermit. With so much work in their hands, they decided it was time to bring in another soldier into the camp, R.O. man. With the help of R.O man, the label became even more fierce by deciding to put bay area's own Drunken Starfighter into the studio and releasing a self-titled EP DRUNKEN STARFIGHTER. So far, this group has been tearing up shows across the bay and opening up for artists such as Eek a Mouse and other well known reggae artists (also check out www.drunkenstarfighter.com).
At this time, Sticky Note Records is currently working with P Strong the Blacksmith in the studio to release his album due to release summer of 2005. P Strong the Blacksmith is known to be bay area's best kept secret. He's been in the game for a long period of time and decided to finally bring bay area hip hop to its finest.

Sticky Note Records not only provides local hip hop talent to the bay, but also has a recording studio, "The Sticky Lab". The Sticky Lab opens its doors to all local musicians who are in need for production/ engineering and to young aspiring djs who want to learn the arts and skills of djing (mixing and scratching).
