About Me

PAST: I started making electronic music in '88 when I got my first Ensoniq sampler. Originally my music was inspired by 80's synth pop, electro and ebm, bands like DAF, Kraftwerk, OMD, New Order, Depeche Mode, Front242, Afrika Bambaataa and Nitzer Ebb. The 90's soon arrived with rave, acid jazz, trip hop, progressive house, techno, and drum&bass, I enjoyed it all, dj'ed a bit, partied hard and then some. The years passed, I played in numerous bands but always continued to pursue my 80's electro, technopunk, house thing. Around about the mid 90's I decided to concentrate on my career, mistake. I was dying a slow uncreative death, but didn't know it. Luckily in 2002 I got back into music with the help of a little program called Reason and a good dj friend. The days of lugging over 60k of hardware around were over, I was free and started to dj again. I was resident at Inoteka Bar in Athens, Greece for three years, a tiny little place but the only true electro/freestyle bar in the city at the time.
PRESENT: Back in Dublin since 2005 I'm a resident with the Hospital crew and regularly do live sets and dj with them at WAX every friday. I recently signed with Queep Organic House, my first two tracks with them are out now and available from all major download stores. At the same time I'm working on new material for my next album called 'Modern Pleasures' which hopefully will be ready by the end of the year. It will be with a variety of guest musicians I've met here and abroad. Visit my website for more info and download a free copy of my last album 'Mercury Rising' recorded during the spring/summer of 2005. Leave a comment and tell me what you think.
