About Me

I was born in 1974 and started playing the drums at the age of 17. Soon I played quite diverse styles in groups like Plastic Ohara, Kampec Dolores and Triton. Later joined to Chalaban, Ágoston Béla Trio, Pop Ivan and Chakra Hacker. In the meantime - among many others - I played freestyle-electronic music with DJ Mango, improvised music in trio with saxophonist Vázsonyi János and with double bass player Benkő Róbert, avantgard music with Ef. Zámbó Happy Dead Band, rock music with Menyhárt Jenő’s Mr. Con and the Bioneers Brave New World Orchestra, folk influenced music with guitarist Cziránku Sándor (Barbaro), avantgarde jazz with sax player Grencsó István, big band music with Budbudas, free-jazz big band with William Parker and Hamid Drake, free improvised music game called „Cobra“ conducted by John Zorn, composed chamber music of Gryllus Samu, Márkos Albert and Gadó Gábor with their ensembles, different projects with laptop artists Prell, Tigrics and Zlatko, drum trio with Hamid Drake and Baló István, duo with Eugene Chadbourne. Besides of occasional projects recently I'm a member of Santa Diver, Syntax and Pándi/Keszei/Halmos/Prell.
