Born in Fresno, CA. Been rymin' since 87'. Rakim made get serious with my writing and style, became Quiksand, meaning I'd sink any emcee lyrically. Started recording professionally in 91'. Hit the industry in 95' with my dude Killa Tay in a click called Kingpins Only, dropping our self titled debut on Triad Records. In 97' dropped frist solo entitled "Tha Session" then "Ghetto Soul" in 98'. The last 2 months of 99' I gave my life to Christ. A year or so after that Quiksand was no more and then entered THA GIM (the God in me), the rebirth in a revolutionary emcee. In 03' drpped an EP entitled "Spoken Word". Then in 04' dropped the LP "Art Of War". THA GIM is the Holy Spirit embeded in a stlye and flow like no other. This is history in the making. This is gospel, street, hip-hop, real life, testamonial, hard times/ good times, ill lyricism, revolutionary, anointed, fight for your life music... don't get it twisted!
