Recording his first flow in early 2005 and releasing his first mixtape, "I'm Dat Boiy" in 2006, SLIMM DUDDY has caught on quick to the fast & determined lifestyle of the rap game. After a lot of hard work, dedication, and determination, SLIMM DUDDY is now signed to PREMIER MUSIC GROUP ; an upcoming independent music label led by CEO - Deon "DJ Flux" Baptiste and affiliated with the well-known independent label PURE PAIN RECORDS. He is also the CEO of his own independent powerhouse, G.M.I. RECORDS. Many say that Slimm grabs a whole of his crowd especially during his memorable performances. "He has a crazy stage presence!" is always heard after his performances.
SLIMM has recently been releasing a heavy buzzed mixtape series entitled "Da 1ne Dey Call DUDDY" along with one of the djs under his G.M.I. Label, DJ Duke "The Mix King". The downloads and copies out through the streets speak highly of the buzz that this new southern artist, SLIMM DUDDY, is building. SLIMM DUDDY and his affiliates/ fam are currently pushing, the late-night anthem, "COME ON OVA" which features another artist under his GMI Movement, E'lon of E.I. which is also signed to WENNER MUSIC. The single is currently catching buzz but will be re-launched in '08 for radio play and will play the role as a single for the upcoming debut album from SLIMM DUDDY.
Speaking of the debut album, SLIMM DUDDY is currently in works on it and it is entitled "WELCOME 2 DUDDY LIFE". It will be released under PREMIER MUSIC GROUP & G.M.I. RECORDS in Late '08 or Early '09. The album will definately be a major stamping of DUDDY's name in the rap game and align him with top acts and names immediately.
